About Riverfest and the St. John River Society |

RiverFest is a fundraiser for the St. John River Society. The St. John River Society was founded in 1992, and is dedicated to the promotion and appreciation of the St. John River and the stewardship of its ressources. Today, the Society represents the entire 400 kms of the St.John River, and undertakes programs that will ensure its continued sustainable use and recognition as one of Canada's truly great rivers.
Since 2005, RiverFest has celebrated the rich heritage and strong cultural ties the people of Fredericton have to the St. John River. So far, over 8,000 visitors and hundreds of volunteers have experienced the fun of RiverFest.
