Come and join our community celebration of the river. Events include the popular River Gear Swap. Here's your chance to gear up for the summer. Fredericton's only Summer season equipment exchange is a big hit with summer enthusiasts. From 10:00am to 3:00pm come and check out all kinds of summer equipment from canoes and kayaks to tents and paddles. When you’re done browsing the Summer Gear Swap, join us for Fiddle Fest! Live music all afternoon in the park that showcases our fiddling heritage along the St. John River. There will also be an Exhibitor’s showcase featuring the important work groups are doing along the St. John River. The York-Sunbury Museum is hosting an Open House to learn about our important cultural heritage. Finally, your little ones will have a great time with a free bouncy castle and kids' activities.
