Where: The Bucket Club When: June 8th Cost: Free RiverFest once again presents The FREE Family Paddle to celebrate Canadian Rivers Day. If you own a canoe or kayak, join us at the Bucket Club for a meandering paddle down river. If you don't own a boat, no worries! Just borrow one for the day. The FREE Family Paddle begins at the Bucket Club and finishes at Carleton Park on Fredericton's Northside with the Après-Paddle Festivities and a barbeque by Business Fredericton North.

Rockin' the River Concert - Saturday June 7 |

 Where: Officer's Square When: 7:30pm- 12:00am, June 7th Cost: $20 Enjoy the sweet sounds of local artists David Myles , The Downtown Blues Band and Vegetarian Haggas under the Chestnut Tent for an evening of entertainment. Doors open at 7:30pm and the tunes won't stop until Midnight. Enjoy Picaroon’s traditional ales.

Where: Officers' Square When: 10:00am - 3:00pm, June 7th
Cost: Free Come and join our community celebration of the river. Events include the popular River Gear Swap. Here's your chance to gear up for the summer. Fredericton's only Summer season equipment exchange is a big hit with summer enthusiasts. From 10:00am to 3:00pm come and check out all kinds of summer equipment from canoes and kayaks to tents and paddles. When you’re done browsing the Summer Gear Swap, join us for Fiddle Fest! Live music all afternoon in the park that showcases our fiddling heritage along the St. John River. There will also be an Exhibitor’s showcase featuring the important work groups are doing along the St. John River. The York-Sunbury Museum is hosting an Open House to learn about our important cultural heritage. Finally, your little ones will have a great time with a free bouncy castle and kids' activities.  |

Salmon & Fiddlehead Dinner - Friday June 6 |

Cost: $22 (Group sales available)

Enjoy a scrumptious dinner prepared by the chefs from BrewBakers – BBQ salmon, fresh local fiddleheads, creamy potato salad and luscious desert to finish. Break bread with friends and neighbours, enjoy music and celebrate! Picaroon’s Traditional Ales will be available. (All ages welcome.) Entertainment will be provided by local Celtic trio Brollachan!  |

Waterwalker Film Festival - Thursday June 5 |

When: Doors open at 7:00, films start when it is dark enough (~8:00) Cost: $10.00 (includes free popcorn!) The WATERWALKER Film Festival is a tribute to the late Bill Mason, the great conservationist, canoeist, painter, author and filmmaker who inspired so many of us to enjoy Canada's waterways and wilderness. His passionate and dedicated care to his work resulted in a need to share its beauty with us and to encourage us to promote its protection. The Film Festival is a series of films which honours the traditions Bill Mason embodied and provides a showcasing opportunity for Canadian film makers.
